Purchase Order:

Just download the purchase order, fill it out and send it to me in the box of broken microphones.

Or, if you wish, go paperless and send it by E-Mail

Please keep in mind if the microphone wire is in rough shape I may not be able to fix it.

Sometimes the microphone cable is too degraded to fix. Also if a microphone element has been exposed to too much sweat, and sounds terrible, a new connector will not make it sound good. We can talk, I can make an evaluation, before I terminate the mic, and judge, if you like, whether or not the microphone is worth re terminating.

Please Email me about repairing mics that are used hardwired with a pre amp (XLR power supply) I can fix those too but I may need to download the manual first, also the price would be less. There is no connector to buy.

I can terminate new microphones in whatever length that you use.

For example: Sennheiser MKE 2s can be made up 18 inches long when the mic and transmitter are worn under the actor’s wig.

Terminated at 6 feet long when the transmitter is worn on the thigh and the microphone capsule is in the hair.

If your performer and the wardrobe department MUST have an exact length, because they CAN’T have any extra wire under the costume. I can shorten your microphone to the necessary length.

I have taken care of all of these requirements for Broadway shows.

I only buy real Swiss Lemo plugs, genuine Shure & Sennheiser connectors and the original Brüel & Kjær (Danish Pro Audio) Microdot connectors.

I feel it does not pay to recycle used connectors, they are usually heavily glued and disassembly ruins the integrity of the connection. Often the microphone manufacturer produces the original connection in a way that I cannot re use a plug.

Microphone brands I frequently work on are Sennheiser, DPA and Point Source.

I can also fix Audio Technica, Beyer, Countryman , Rode , Sanken, Shure, Sony, Tram and Voice Technologies

Warranty:

I personally guarantee my work, if one of my connections fails in a short time please return it to me, I will re-terminate it and send it back to you, no charge of course. If It can’t be fixed your fee will be returned and you can keep the mic.
